60 degree carbide bars offer the most aggressive steering traction available.
It is durable, but may need to be sharpened or replaced more often to keep that aggressive traction.
The
DOMINATOR series wearbar with 60 degree carbide provides deeper
penetration and longer wear than standard wearbars. This is the ULTIMATE
in traction and control. The 60 degree carbide has a narrower cross
section than the 75 or 90 allowing better penetration in all conditions.
When maximum traction and safety is required, this is the bar to use. The
Dominator also has the flat on the top of the bar to prevent “bar roll” by
keeping the carbide perpendicular to the surface.
Bottom Line’s “Price Point” wearbars offer the same quality construction as all of our other product line, with the exception of replacing the carbide wearpads with hardweld material. If you’re looking for a quality bar at a bargain price, choose the Dominator 60° hardweld
"Price Point" bars.

How much carbide do I need?
Bottom Line offers more wearbar choices for most models of sleds. This chart is a guideline to how much controlling carbide may be needed for different riding styles. Some people may prefer a different “feel” to their snowmobile than others, this chart simply gives a starting point. Each individual can adjust from there.
